Privacy Policy

StretchCheck is developed by Dylan Miller. We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about how we handle your data.

The short version: We don't collect, store, or share any of your personal data. Everything happens on your device. Your camera is used only for real-time pose detection and never records or transmits images.

Camera and Pose Detection

StretchCheck uses your device's camera to verify that you are performing stretches correctly. Here's exactly what happens:

• Real-time processing only: Video frames are processed on-device using Apple's Vision framework to detect your body position.
• No recording: Images and video are never recorded, saved, or stored in any form.
• No transmission: Camera data never leaves your device. It is not uploaded to any server or shared with any third party.
• Immediate deletion: Each frame is analyzed in memory and immediately discarded after processing.

You have complete control over camera access and can revoke it at any time in your device's Settings app.

Data Storage

All user data in StretchCheck is stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. This includes:

• Your stretch completion history
• Streak and progress data
• Alarm settings and preferences
• Custom alarm sound selections

This data never leaves your device. We do not have access to it, cannot view it, and do not transmit it to any external servers.

No Analytics or Tracking

We do not use any analytics SDKs, tracking pixels, or third-party services that collect user behavior data. We have no idea how you use the app, and we like it that way.

No User Accounts

StretchCheck does not require you to create an account or provide any personal information such as your name, email address, or phone number. The app works completely independently on your device.

Subscriptions and Payments

StretchCheck offers optional in-app purchases (Pro Monthly and Pro Yearly subscriptions) processed entirely through Apple's App Store. We do not have access to your payment information, credit card details, or billing address. All payment processing is handled by Apple in accordance with their privacy policy.

No Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, share, or transfer any data to third parties because we don't collect any data in the first place. Your information stays on your device.

Children's Privacy

StretchCheck does not knowingly collect any information from children under the age of 13. Since we don't collect data from anyone, this includes children.

Data Security

Since all data is stored locally on your device using Apple's secure frameworks, the security of your data depends on your device's security measures (passcode, Face ID, Touch ID, etc.). We recommend keeping your device secure and up to date.

Your Rights

You have complete control over your data:

• Access: All your data is visible within the app.
• Deletion: You can delete your data at any time by deleting the app from your device.
• Camera permissions: You can revoke camera access in your device Settings at any time (though this will prevent the app from verifying stretches).

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
